infor invited our Association and optitex to hold a joint seminar exclusive for the clothing companies on 21st March 2013. Both infor & optitex are international software companies. Clothing is one of the major industries to which these two software companies have been served for years. The seminar used Catherine's speech topic as the theme. At the seminar, Catherine emphasized the importance of listening to the voice of the customer for doing product development. After Catherine's speech, Joe Lam of infor introduced his company's PLM and ERP systems and Nick Wei of optitex demonstrated his company's 3D Suite. The seminar was interactive. The audience actively discussed with the speakers and frankly shared their opinions with other audience during the seminar. Catherine was happy to meet the clothing practitioners on that day. She looks forward to having opportunities of introducing QFD to the clothing industry in future.
