Catherine was one of the guest speakers of Quality Improvement Experience Sharing (QIES) Forum 2013. This year, the forum was hosted by Vitasoy with the theme of "Achieving Excellence through Smart Resource Allocation". At the forum, Dr. Y. K. Chan of SixSigma Institute talked about using lean, TOC and sixsigma as the tools to identify the improvement areas and to formulate strategies for business development, and, Ms Estella Hui shared the move from quality from being a department's job to becoming the core value of the whole company of Vitasoy. Catherine would like to take this opportunity to point out that reducing consumption and raising effectivenss of energy usage is no more only the suppliers' but everybody's job. However, suppliers have to first understand customers' requirements before applying their technology to design new energy supply.
