Catherine conducted a lecture on QFD at Donghua University in Shanghai on 5th November 2013. It is an international postgraduate class with students coming from different countries, including India, Peru, the USA and Germany, studying master and doctoral programs with their research in the domain of service management. Catherine received warm welcome from Prof. Xu Ming, Executive Director of Glorious Sun Institute of Management of the university. The lecture was focused on explaining the fundamental principles of QFD for doing quality management and how QFD could be used in service development and innovation. It was a happy lecture. The students' rapt attention and active participation in group discussion greatly impressed Catherine.
Prof. Xu has known QFD for a long time and he highly supports QFD. He encourages the students continue learning QFD and apply QFD in their research. Catherine is pleased to collaborate with Prof. Xu on both academic research and industrial application of QFD. She is happy to provide advice and guidance wherever necessary.
