Catherine first visited the Headquarter at Tai An Road. She was warmly welcomed by Ms Hu, the Deputy Director of the Member Service Department. Ms Hu introduced the kinds of service the Association provided for the members and the activities that are held by the Association from time to time.

After the meeting with Ms Hu, Catherine went to Wuyi Road to visit the operation complex of the Association. The complex is the central place where Shanghai Academy of Quality Management, Shanghai Quality Management Training Center and Shanghai Audit Center of Quality System locate and operate. The building is historical and beautifully constructed. After paying a visit to the facilities, Catherine made a final stop at the publication department. She was very happy finding the Chinese-translated version of Peter Drucker's "The Effective Executive" was selling there. She bought the book for her souvenir of this visit.
